Colin Young MRICS FNAVA

Colin joined the profession in 1986 and trained with Lyall & Co (Later Richardsons) in Bourne.

In 1989 he joined Goldings as Saleroom Manager at the age of 21. Since 1994 he has been the firm’s Principal Auctioneer  & Valuer.

He is a Fellow of the National Association of Valuers & Auctioneers, qualifying in 1993. He has also served on the Executive Committee.

In 1996 he became the ISVA Young Auctioneer of the Year. Also a 3-times runner-up.

He is a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, qualifying as a Chartered Art & Antiques Surveyor.

He was the 2003 recipient of the Antiques Trade Gazette Prize for Professional Assessment.
